The REET research unit  (Renewable Energies and Environmental Technologies) at the Bruno Kessler Foundation  is one of the main actors in the production of technologies based on energy sources like solar thermal, photovoltaic and an absolutely innovative cogeneration system with a biomass boiler that integrates electricity generation through the use of a Stirling engine built at the FBK–REET labs.
