FBK Open Facility Day

The value of this event, which will take place on May 5 in Trento at FBK, is twofold: first, it marks the closing and presentation of the results of the IPCEI ME@FBK project and at the same time introduces the roadmap of the new IPCEI ME/CT project for microelectronics and Chips Act.
All companies interested in the application potential of the research illustrated are invited; in fact, the meeting is designed to better explain both the results obtained and the studies to come, so as to stimulate discussion and optimize planning also in favor of greater involvement of companies and other research players.
The event will feature highlights on FBK Cleanrooms, the technologies and sensors developed by researchers within these particular laboratories, the “FBK Open Facility” model, supporting research, innovation and companies in the strategic microelectronic device sector.
This will then be complemented by an account of FBK’s involvement in the European IPCEI and Chips Act programs. These major projects, which are strongly supported by the European Community, play a strategic role in maintaining a competitive and long-term position in areas such as safety, environment and health also through new developments in micro and nanotechnology.
After the presentation of FBK’s results in IPCEI ME, we will share FBK’s technology roadmap, strongly linked to the recently launched IPCEI ME/CT and the Chips Act.
In the late morning, a series of “Rapid Fire” Talks will describe research and innovation perspective scenarios for some topical issues.
A series of B2B meetings with speakers and the opportunity to visit the Cleanrooms are planned for the afternoon.
An Italian/English and English/Italian translation service will be provided.
