School of Civic Technology

Fondazione Bruno Kessler co-organizes the School of Civic Technology November 24 through 26 in Turin, which is back with a different format, new speakers, new workshops but always the same goal: to analyze theories and practices of social and civic innovation for experimenting new solutions.

We will study Italian and international experiences with a method that combines theory and practice and leaves much room to discussion and design. We will talk about networks of citizens who are organized to govern better than Governments, information and migratory phenomena, finance and social impact, universal basic income, open data and education.

We will have the protagonists of politics, social innovation discuss with designers and financiers through educational steps that were intended to offer participants all the tools to read and interact with reality. But above all, we will exert thought, body, and spirit on the paradox of a digital society where collectivism and independence, innovation and conservation, new tools of democracy and control collide.

New partners accompany the third edition of the School of Civic Technology, NESTA Italia and Fondazione per la Scuola of Compagnia di San Paolo, bringing new stimuli and experiences.
