The “Artificial Intelligence for Weather and Climate Autumn School” will offer a class of 25 students face-to-face lectures and application labs to acquire basic and advanced skills in using artificial intelligence methods in weather and climate science.

The school will be held in Trento from October 26 to 29 2026 (english language). It’s a unique opportunity to delve into the applications of AI in the field of meteorological and climatological sciences through lectures and hands-on labs.

Participation is free and limited to 25 attendants from academia, public entities and industry.

The intensive four-day program includes:

9 hours of hands-on sessions
5 keynote speakers from national and international institutions: #ECMWF, #MeteoSwiss, #EUMETSAT #CINECA #University of Bologna
2 theoretical sessions
