Hands-on School on Micro and Nanofabrication

From 15 July to 15 September, enrolment is open for the Hands-on School on Micro and Nanofabrication, It-fab’s intensive training programme dedicated to micro- and nanofabrication technologies. FBK is actively contributing to the initiative, both in its organisation and through the participation of numerous experts.

Experience micro- and nanofabrication from the inside.

An exclusive four-day training experience combining expert lectures with direct access to the PiQuET Cleanroom.

With only 18 in-person participants, the School offers small-group practical training alongside researchers and technologists working at the forefront of microelectronics, MEMS, photonics and quantum technologies.

The It-fab Hands-on School on Micro- and Nanofabrication combines theoretical lectures with direct experience in a professional cleanroom environment.

Unlike conventional training courses, the School is designed around a hands-on learning approach. Participants will learn the principles of micro- and nanofabrication in the classroom and then apply them through guided activities in the cleanroom, gaining first-hand exposure to key fabrication processes and research infrastructures.
The programme is intended for Master’s students, PhD candidates, researchers, and professionals interested in microelectronics, MEMS, photonics, quantum technologies, and advanced manufacturing.
