Luigi Fontana (MD, PhD – Department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences, Brescia University – Italy e Department of Medicine, Washington University, St.Louis – USA) is an internationally acknowledged physician and scientist, considered to be one of the world’s leading experts in nutrition and longevity. His pioneering studies on the effects of calorie restriction on human beings have opened up a new area of nutrition research that promises great potential in the prevention of chronic illnesses related to unhealthy lifestyles and the understanding of biology of aging.
