Gaps and limits in the current statistical methodology used in analysing data on emerging/re-emerging viruses and AMR through One Health integrated data

FBK's Health Emergencies Center in collaboration with the Infectious Diseases Department of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) is organizing this online workshop as part of the PNRR INF_ACT research project and more specifically within the EPIMOD node.

The objective of this online workshop is to identify what the problems are in data collection, possible integration between multiple sources, and mathematical/statistical analyses performed for epidemiological purposes.

The invited speakers are national experts in their fields, and each of them during the presentation will pause in identifying the problems encountered during their research activities. The Workshop aims to discuss possible strategies to improve the skills needed by the workforce involved and strengthen operational capacities, in accordance with the principles of One Health.

The workshop is aimed at both experts in the field and doctoral/specialist students in various disciplines such as epidemiology, microbiology, veterinary medicine, public health, statistics, mathematics, physics and other disciplines related to the analysis of epidemiological data in the field of infectious diseases.

It will be possible to follow the event remotely only . Registration is not required.
