The "Smart Altitude Webinar Series" consists of 5 webinars that share best practices and tools for implementing low-carbon measures in Alpine ski areas

Smart Altitude is a European Interreg project that aims at developing and implementing new solutions and policies to improve the use of energy in Alpine ski resorts. The Smart Altitude’s approach integrates Key Performance Indicators, monitoring systems and Energy Management Systems to support decision-makers in Alpine ski resorts in adopting low-carbon measures.

The “Smart Altitude Webinar Series” is a set of 5 webinars that share best practices, experience and tools for planning, implementing and optimizing low-carbon measures in Alpine ski resorts and territories. The webinars aim at engaging potential replicators over the Alpine Space in order to make a step forward in climate change approaches for winter tourism.

Registration is public and free of charge. Participants will receive the Google Meet link to join the webinar in the registraton confirmation.
Webinar #1 – About the Smart Altitude Project: the first seminar presents the Smart Altitude Project and the six-steps approach for dealing with climate change in Alpine ski resorts. Adaptation and mitigation strategies will be discussed. The Smart Altitude Online toolkit will be presented as a main resource for guiding ski-resort operators and local policy-makers in developing low-carbon measures.
