THE “KEY TO HEALTH” PILOT PROJECT PROMOTES A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE IN THE WORKPLACE

17/02/2017 It is an innovative project that aims to promote healthy lifestyles in the workplace and prevent the onset of chronic diseases (in particular cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes mellitus), by working on diet and exercise.

Starting in April 2017, Fondazione Bruno Kessler was the first field experimentation for the project promoted by the FBK-Health and Wellbeing High Impact Area in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Policies of the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT), the Provincial Healthcare System (APSS) and the National Institute for Work-related Accident Insurance (INAIL).

During the experimentation, FBK has turned into a Living Lab in which technological and organizational interventions have been redesigned starting from user behavior.

At this time, the model is also being tested at two Departments of the Autonomous Province of Trento (Financial Affairs and Health and Social Solidarity) and in the Organizational Development Area and in the Information Systems Service of the Provincial Healthcare System (APSS). The experimentation was possible thanks to “TreCLifeStyle”, a mobile application, with a virtual coaching system, developed by FBK.
