Agreement with UniBZ signed

02/02/2018 The agreement, signed on Friday, February 2, 2018 in Bozen, aims to strengthen and formalize the collaboration between the two research entities operating in the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino area.

In particular, it will serve the purpose of facilitating the exchange and sharing of skills and knowledge among research groups that currently work on topics common to UniBZ and FBK: in the context of historical and religious studies, technologies for information, materials and microsystems and the evaluation of public policies. The latter areas of research, once the detailed actions covered by the agreement are defined, will see the creation of joint research activities. The agreement introduces the possibility of joint appointments for researchers, who will cover a position both within UniBZ and FBK. The agreement implementation actions also provide for the possibility of setting up joint laboratories, with possible sharing of infrastructures between research groups of the two institutions. The agreement will also have its effects on teaching, making effective the possibility of establishing associated doctorate programs and PhD schools and offering joint professional master programs.
