The Sports Festival 2019

From 10 to 13 October in Trento, second edition

Trento

Trento

An extensive journalistic event aimed at telling the real stories of great individual athletes and legendary teams, both male and female athletes, current and past champions; who all come together just for the La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Trento is a city of sports enthusiasts who breathe sports every single day, so its many halls and theatres make an ideal setting for these four, very intensive, days dedicated solely to sports: every moment will offer unique thrills.
However, the event would not be complete without the chance to take part hands on and not only passively by listening to the sports personalities. So, we will be waiting for you in the various Sports Camps scattered around all the city’s squares, which will transform centre into one single, massive sports playground open to all, where you can discover the best ways to enjoy sports.

Find out more about the guests and the programme.

In particular, we would like to point out:

10 – 13 October, 9:30am – 6:00pm @MUSE e “Le Albere” District (Sport Tech District)
“Move with geocaching!” A treasure hunt to keep you healthy by discovering the city of Trento

The activity proposed by TS4.0 promotes the importance of the movement, offering visitors and participants the chance to play “GeoTreC”, a virtual and cultural treasure hunt that, in addition to encouraging participants to practice physical activity, provides an overview historical and interesting notions about Trento. Hunting takes place thanks to geocaching, an innovative activity that is still little explored as a tool for promoting movement. Participants will have to install the GeoTreC App and choose from four routes (the “hunts”) with different difficulties, which allow you to learn about the history and culture of the city (“Trento in the centuries”, “Italianità di Trento”, etc.) ). Using digital technologies (the smartphone with the GPS receiver) will have to identify real or virtual objects and respond to riddles as quickly as possible. Whoever completes the treasure hunt and answers the riddles correctly will receive a very useful prize!
The activity is sponsored by the MELINDA Consortium (Val di Non – Trentino).

Participants are the researchers and the staff of TrentinoSalute 4.0. A care of TS4.0, Autonomous Province of Trento – Councilor for health, social policies, disability and family, Provincial Agency for Health Services and Fondazione Bruno Kessler.

Free entry to all events while seats last! It will only be possible to access an event location from one hour before the start. If you have any further doubts about access, read this.
