    The conference aims to analyze the results of a research on the sentences of the Extraordinary Courts of Assizes in some areas of Italy, promoted by ANPI, the National Association of Italian Partisans, and Istituto Nazionale “Ferruccio Parri” of Milan, and to start, at the same time, considering also the other tribunals that dealt with fascist and Nazi crimes, in particular the allied military tribunals and the Italian military tribunals, and more generally the problems of transitional justice in Italy.
