Impresa sociale al cubo | social enterprise cubed
Trento will be hosting a series of cultural events organized by ConSolida, the system of social cooperatives in Trentino November 4 through 10: organizations that target the whole community providing educational and recreational services, care and assistance, and creating job opportunities for the disadvantaged. The meetings aim to discuss together the roads to be undertaken to continue to ensure the welfare and social cohesion of all communities.
Narration and dialogue to build, together with all the local players, the “biodiversity” of Trentino with respect to the prevalent economic and cultural model that relegates to the margins the combination of economy and sociality. Social cooperatives wish to contribute as social enterprises³ (cubed), since they are educational, inclusive and sustainable. Sustainable, since they do not use public and collective resources but bring them into production, multiply and redistribute them instead by respecting the environment; Inclusive, as they involve, in the design and production, local talents and resources, including residual ones, of people and communities; educational, since through production and consumption processes they express and contribute to building a community in which inequalities are reduced, access to rights is ensured and opportunities for democracy and active participation are created.
The event, scheduled for November 7 from 8.30 pm to 10.00 pm, is supported by FBK and is being hosted at its location in the city center, Via Santa Croce 77:
