IMEAS mid-term conference

Event schedule
APRIE will host a national conference entitled “The role of energy modeling tools in the construction of future energy scenarios” in Trento on December 4. The conference is part of the IMEAS inter-regional cooperation project, funded within the Interreg Alpine Space program, of which the Autonomous Province of Trento is a partner through APRIE.
It will be an opportunity to have an overview on the state of the art of energy planning tools and look at future scenarios at a time when the Trentino administration has started working on the new Provincial Environmental Energy Plan for the decade 2021-2030.
In addition to the other Italian partners of the project, such as ENEA, which is the leader organization, and the Turin-based T. Fenoglio Foundation for the Environment, attendees include various representatives of universities, research organizations, energy agencies, institutional representatives of various levels, as well as some members of the EUSALP Energy Action Group.
The IMEAS (Integrated and Multi-level Energy Model for the Alpine Space) project targets Public Administrations, energy agencies and stakeholders involved in various ways in the planning of sustainable energy policies and promotes an integrated approach and common tools that, through the construction and strengthening of skills, and the sharing of good practices, can indicate the measures to be implemented in the Alpine Space for an efficient and low-carbon energy model.
Among the numerous project activities, Trentino is expected to be the pilot area for Italy where new methodologies for regional energy planning coild be tested.
We wish to announce in particular that FBK researchers Luigi Crema and Diego Viesi will be among the attendees.
