International Industry Engagement Workshop on Cybersecurity!
This event will take place within the framework of the Deep Tech Skills Days, organised by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative along with the MERIT project that will enhance participation by taking charge of the workshop’s online component allowing students, experts and companies to join remotely.
The International Industry Engagement Workshop on Cybersecurity is organised by EDIH Digital Innovation Zone, Riga Technical University (RTU), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC), Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) and the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative along with industry leaders FORT and Expertware, which are also collaborating to bring this workshop to life.
The International Industry Engagement Workshop on Cybersecurity will explore the latest trends and innovative solutions in cybersecurity through presentations from leading companies and open discussions with experts. Key topics include current cybersecurity challenges, the adoption of innovative technologies, and the need for advanced digital skills. The workshop aims to raise awareness about the evolving cybersecurity landscape, emphasize the importance of new technologies and skills, and promote collaboration among industry experts, SMEs, researchers, and students. Expected outcomes include increased awareness of critical cybersecurity areas, insights for researchers and students on needed skills and technologies, and guidance for educators on essential competencies for future cybersecurity professionals.
