UX challenge: a unique opportunity for digital companies in Trentino

Event schedule
UX Challenge (User eXperience Challenge) is an initiative of Trentino Innovation Hub to enable Trentino based companies to test and improve the quality of their digital products and services.
The initiative, organized in collaboration with Fondazione Bruno Kessler, the University of Trento, Trentino Sviluppo, the Pavonian Artigianelli Institute for Graphic Arts and Confindustria Trento, will have the format of a hackaton, and will focus on service design: for two days (Friday and Saturday, December 1 and 2), students and young professionals will work with experts in User eXperience to enhance the usefulness and usability of mobile applications, web apps, and software.
Participation in the UX Challenge is reserved to three digital companies with base of operations in the Province of Trento, and students and former students (up to 18 months after graduation from the University of Trento) and the Pavonian Artigianelli Institute for the Graphic Arts.
Students will be suitably trained on the methodologies to be used and organized in “solver” teams. During the two-day Challenge the teams will test and improve User Experience of the selected products (some of which are already on the market and others under development); they will design new mockups of digital interfaces, or new features. Attendees will also include, in the various phases of the Challenge, end users selected by HIT for testing and co-designing.
As output, the selected companies will receive a slide deck highlighting issues and suggesting product enhancement and will therefore provide important and solid innovation opportunities that the company can implement later on. Companies will take part in the most important stages of the Challenge, and will be able to closely follow the work of the solvers.
Businesses and students may submit their applications to participate in the UX Challenge by October 20 at this webpage. Participation of businesses in the UX Challenge 2017 is free, and selected students could receive vouchers for 120€. For more information, please write to
