The future of sustainable mobility in Trentino
MUSE – Museo delle Scienze
Corso del Lavoro e della Scienza, 3, Trento
The event involves the main local stakeholders in the mobility sector: Fondazione Bruno Kessler, that has been engaged in the research and development of new innovative technologies for years, the MUSE, whose director will present his vision on the subject, the former Director of Trentino Trasporti, Skyway Italia, Alstom and Solid Power.
Starting from a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and of what has been achieved over the past 20 years, two extremely innovative technologies will be presented, which currently represent the state of the art in transportation: a new concept of string mobility that allows, thanks to the combination of several patents, high-speed travel with minimum consumption that can be entirely covered by renewable sources, connecting even traditionally hard-to-reach locations. The technology will be used in airport connections with the Dubai 2020 Expo. Then the hydrogen fuel cell engine for trains that allows the total elimination of railway wiring above the rail, a reduction in costs, consumption and polluting emissions.
Talks by institutions representatives will follow with councillor for economic development and research Achille Spinelli and Mario Tonina, Councilor for Urban design, Environment and Cooperation, and with the closing remarks by Count Leonardo Clerici (Skriptura FT Marinetti Foundation) with a reflection linking art, culture, innovation and future, and by the President of the Sustainable Economy Association, Luca Bazzanella.
We would like to draw your attention to the participation of our researcher Luigi Crema, head of the ARES unit.
