Dipartimento Facoltà di Giurisprudenza – Università di Trento

Via Giuseppe Verdi 53, Trento

Can a robot be personally responsible for its actions? In what terms can I get reimbursement for treatment obtained abroad? What is the limitation of European law on genetic engineering?
In a scientific and technological context that is constantly and often with unpredictable evolutions, according to dynamics that often disregard national boundaries, what role can the European Union play?

Starting from 19 February 2018, the new Jean Monnet module in Biolaw is active:”Teaching European Law and Life Sciences” (BioTell), funded by the European Commission for the three-year period 2017-2020, and which offers an in-depth study of the courses in Bio-law already present in the study programmes of Law, Cybio, Literature and Philosophy.

On March 7, at the Faculty of Law, our ICT-IRST Director, Paolo Traverso, will talk about the impact of Artificial Intelligence, its opportunities and critical issues
