The genius between art and science

Who is the modern genius? How much does intelligence and luck affect man's discoveries and how does genius develop in today's world of science and contemporary art?

MUSE – Museo delle Scienze

Corso del Lavoro e della Scienza 3, Trento

On November 30, MUSE will be hosting a meeting dedicated to creativity and the ability to innovate as ideas for the development of scientific discoveries and inventions.

During the evening, important names of the world of science and art will discuss innovations, and how creativity has a weight in the field of scientific and artistic discoveries, just as Archimedes, the inventor and mathematical genius of the classic age, teaches us. The intent is to investigate the modern genius in the world of contemporary science and art, and to understand together how much power can intellect and luck have in the discoveries of man.

Speakers Arturo Galansino – Director of Palazzo Strozzi Foundation in Florence – and Tommaso Calarco – Director of the Institute for Complex Quantum Systems at Ulm University (Germany) – expertly moderated by Alda D’Eusanio, journalist and TV anchorwoman, will be spokespersons for these topics, presenting them through their own professional and life experiences.
The initiative is linked to the exhibit entitled “Archimedes. Inventing that is fun” being displayed at MUSE until January 7.

Admission to the lobby and balconies is free of charge upon reservation by clicking here
