De Gasperi: Letta and Cornelissen at Lectio 2017

Enrico Letta and German historian Christoph Cornelissen will be the speakers at the Lectio degasperiana 2017 on Friday, August 18 at Pieve Tesino, on the initiative of Fondazione trentina Alcide De Gasperi.

Letta and Cornelissen will talk about the relationship between Alcide De Gasperi and Konrad Adenauer, German Chancellor from 1949 to 1963, whose 50th death anniversary is being marked this year, as well as about the relationship between Italy and Germany within the context of a new European perspective.

Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister, is currently the director of the International Business School in Paris; Christoph Cornelissen is a professor at the Goethe Universität in Frankfurt and director of the Italian-German Historical Institute of Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento.
