Broad participation of FBK researchers at FAIR's first General Conference.

FAIR’s General Conference 2024 will be the first major meeting for the entire FAIR community after the March 2023 kick-off meeting in Pisa, and will mark the watershed of the PNRR project, a year and a half after its launch. The conference will bring together in Naples the coordinators of the ten spokes into which the project is divided, the representatives of the 25 partner organisations, and the over 500 FAIR researchers, together with the world of companies that are part of the Italian artificial intelligence ecosystem created in recent months by FAIR.

The two-day event has an articulated programme that will present the main research results of the project, but will also feature an institutional and cultural debate on the topic of artificial intelligence, open to the public.

FAIR Conference

Monday 23/09 at 11.30 a.m. Elisa Ricci (FBK/UniTN) takes part in Session I – Multimodal presenting “Modelli Fondazionali per la Generazione di Video”.

Tuesday 24/09 at 9.00 am Bernardo Magnini FBK in Session 4, – LLM – Foundations will speak about “Verso un repository aperto di dati “nativi” italiani per modelli di AI generativa “

Also on Tuesday 24/09 9.40 Mauro Dragoni, FBK will present in Session 5 – LLM – Applications ‘Bridging LLMs Into Reliable Medical Chatbots’.

ANSA event

September 23 starting at 5:00 p.m. there will be an ANSA event entitled NEXT GENERATION AI | Italian research for artificial intelligence in which Paolo Avesani, FBK will participate, speaking in the Session “L’intelligenza artificiale per la salute”
