ICTdays 2024 – to boost the interaction among companies, researchers and students.

ICT Days, the initiative launched in 2009 by the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento that reached its sixteenth edition, are dedicated to the Information and Communication Technology sector (ICT) and to boost the interaction among companies, researchers and students.

The 2024 edition is dedicated to the topic “Networks: space, land, water” from an ICT perspective.

Through free participation in thematic seminars, visits to our educational laboratories of excellence and meetings with Alumni and Ph.D. students, participants will have the opportunity to get to know the teaching and research activities carried out within the Department, and to interact with researchers, teachers, university students, and partner companies.

Some events will take place both in presence and online.

What is ICT?
ICT, acronym for Information and Communication Technology, is the science that studies information processing, transformation and transmission systems in an integrated way.

It encompasses all the technologies that enable information processing and exchange. ICT is made up of different areas: information technology, electronics and telecommunications, and is the basis of today’s technological evolution
