In the humanities area, the Center for Italo-Germanic Studies focuses on studies of common interest to Germans and Italians within a European and World context.

The main goal of the Center for Religious Sciences are studies in religious and theological sciences in which researchers conduct synergic, multiyear projects. In the area of education, the center offers a Higher Education Course in Religious Sciences to educate teachers of Catholic religion courses in public schools.
