With the appointments made at today’s BoD meeting, the composition of the new Fondazione Bruno Kessler’s Advisory Board, announced in recent days during the events dedicated to the presentation of the 2024-2027 Office Term Plan in Trento and at the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan, during which President Ferruccio Resta outlined the tangible and measurable objectives that redefine FBK’s new mission and a new organization to achieve them more effectively, becomes official.

Thus, the components of the Foundation’s scientific activity steering body are: Francesca Pasinelli, Telethon Foundation council delegate, appointed as Chair; Vittorio Colao, former minister for technological innovation and digital transition under Mr. Draghi’s administration; Franco Locatelli, president of the Italian National Institute of Health; Matteo Lunelli, Lunelli Group CEO and president and CEO of Ferrari Trento; Antonio Marcegaglia, Marcegaglia Steel Chairman & CEO; Alessandra Perrazzelli, deputy director general of the Bank of Italy; and Donatella Sciuto, Milan Polytechnic Chancellor.

“The challenges of society, healthcare and industry,” said Fondazione Bruno Kessler President Ferruccio Resta, “are intertwined with the changes affecting the life of individuals and their relationship with technology. Fondazione Bruno Kessler – thanks to the quality of its research in the fields of microsystems, sensors, artificial intelligence, and the humanities and social sciences – feels deeply the responsibility to respond to these complex transitions. In this context, we feel it is essential to be able to exchange views with an Advisory Committee that can best support our future strategic choices, counting on profiles that – in addition to fulfilling the statutory duties provided for – can become ambassadors of FBK’s values and potential.”
