(m.l.) On Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December 2009 in Trento in the conference hall of Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Via S. Croce 77, will be held the international workshop “Interessi e regole: operatori e istituzioni nel commercio transalpino in età moderna (secoli XVI-XIX)” (Interests and rules: transalpine trade operators and institutions in modern times (16th-19th centuries)) organized by the FBK Centre for Italian-German Historical Studies and by the Department of Economy of the University of Trento.
Scholars from various universities (Leipzig, Klagenfurt, Koper/Capodistria, Pisa, Milan, Venice, Padua and Udine) will meet with their Trentino colleagues to discuss the events of the Trentino-Tyrolean economic region in its business relations with surrounding areas.
The workshop will also be an opportunity for scientific reflection on the themes of the research project “Commercio e finanza tra Italia e Germania” (Trade and finance between Italy and Germany) on which the FBK researcher Katia Occhi has been working in recent years together with the scholars of the University of Trento Andrea Leonardi and Andrea Bonoldi (members of the conference’s scientific committee) and with the researcher Cinzia Lorandini.
