(v.l.) This morning saw the undersigning in Povo (Trento) of the convention between ITEA S.p.a. and Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in the sector of alternative energy resources and environmental technologies.
The agreement, signed by FBK President Andrea Zanotti and by ITEA President Aida Ruffini, envisages the cooperation of both organizations in the next five years in activities in the field of environmental sustainability, also pertaining to the “Piano Legno” (Wood Plan) project, and for the promotion of the construction of new buildings featuring the use of innovative technologies and alternative energy resources.
The signature of the document was also attended by the general secretary of Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Andrea Simoni, and by ITEA’s CEO, Paolo Toniolli.
ITEA, a sector operator, shall thus be able to integrate its building construction activities throughout the province with proven scientific know-how in the application to building systems of energy innovation-related technologies.
FBK, in its capacity as expert scientific operator, shall apply its research in the sector to real cases, i.e. already constructed buildings or buildings to be built within the province.
Research in the field of alternative renewable and low environmental impact energy resources and of environmental technologies is part of FBK’s scientific mission. To this end FBK avails itself of the know-how developed in its “Information Technology” and “Materials & Microsystems” divisions located in Povo.
