New Tenure Track openings for Researchers at Fondazione Bruno Kessler

In critical times for research funding, a positive signal comes from FBK, the internationally known research and innovation institute based in Trento.

In fact, FBK just launched today five new tenure track positions. This announcement initiates the ambitious three-year investments plan recently approved by the Board of Directors on a proposal by President Francesco Profumo.

The three-year plan provides for 14 international calls for tenure track positions in some of the scientific areas of excellence of the Foundation: information technologies and artificial intelligence, materials and microsystems, evaluation of public policies.

In particular, 2016 calls target the areas of Microsystems, Information Security, Natural Language, software solutions for Smart Cities and Communities, and Project Management.

Candidates who pass the selection will be hired, for the first three years, on a tenure track contract: a career path based on objectives, which is recognized in international research contexts. If concluded successfully, tenure track contracts are replaced with permanent contracts.
