This is the second of a cycle of seminars on the implications\, uses and limitations of the “gender” category in a vast array of disciplines\, ranging from humanities to applied science.
Carla WEBER – psychologist psychotherapist psycho-analyst\, founder and director of AKOE’ in Trento. She has published many scientific papers on science journals and is the author of “Inventare se stesse. Adolescenti sulla soglia della civiltà planetaria” (“Inventing ourselves. Adolescent girls on the threshold of planetary civilization” - (Meltemi 2004) and of the postfaction “Dentro l’ambiguità. Un contributo di Psicologia politica” (Inside ambiguity. A political psychology contribution) to the work by Judith Butler “The Psychic Life of Power” of which she has edited the Italian translation (Meltemi 2005).
ABSTRACT of the SEMINAR. The gender issue moves within the field of construction of the attributions of the sense and meaning of being women and men in life and work. Therefore\, it should be addressed by trying to comprehend how the ways in which the manners of intending the difference have emerged and taken hold. Via psychology and psychoanalysis\, it is possible to distinguish the issues that pertain to the interiorization of affective codes\, that constitute human relational skills\; to the difference between genitality and sexuality\; to the cultural effect of the gender concept. An especially significant question arises in research\: which forms of organized human life are more suited to allowing the expression of gender differences?

Il seminario è il secondo di un ciclo di incontri sulle implicazioni\, gli usi ed i limiti della categoria del “genere” in molteplici ambiti disciplinari\, dalle scienze umane alle scienze applicate.
Carla WEBER psicologa psicoterapeuta\, psicoanalista\, fondatrice e direttrice dello studio AKOE’ di Trento. Ha pubblicato numerosi contributi scientifici su riviste specializzate ed è autrice di Inventare se stesse. Adolescenti sulla soglia della civiltà planetaria (Meltemi 2004) e della postfazione “Dentro l’ambiguità. Un contributo di Psicologia politica” dell’opera di Judith Butler La vita psichica del potere di cui ha curato la traduzione italiana (Meltemi 2005).
ABSTARCT del SEMINARIO La questione di genere si muove nel campo della costruzione delle attribuzioni di senso e significato dell’essere donne e uomini nei contesti di vita e di lavoro. Va quindi affrontata cercando di comprendere come sono emerse e si sono consolidate le modalità di intendere la diversità. Attraverso gli strumenti della psicologia e della psicoanalisi è possibile distinguere le questioni che afferiscono all’interiorizzazione dei codici affettivi\, costitutivi della competenza relazionale umana\; alla differenza tra genitalità e sessualità\; al portato culturale del concetto di genere. Una domanda di ricerca particolarmente importante diviene\: quali forme di vita umana organizzata sono più adatte a consentire l’espressione di differenze di genere?

IRVAPP (Research Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies) is organizing a series of seminars on themes related to the evaluation of public policies.
Invitations have been sent out to researchers and scholars of the universities or bodies that either directly or indirectly address public policies. The invitation has also been extended to politicians\, government officials and to the general public.
The seminars are to be held at the headquarters of IRVAPP/Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Via S. Croce 77 in Trento.
The first seminar is scheduled for Thursday\, 11 February 2010 at 5 p.m. and featuring Giorgio Brunello (University of Padua) who will speak about "\;Do Incentives to Continuing Vocational Training Matter? Evidence from Italian Regions"\; (Prof. Brunello’s speech will be held in Italian)

(m.l.) Venerdí 12 febbraio 2010 é stata costituita la nuova startup “Practix”\, nata dalla collaborazione tra la Fondazione Bruno Kessler di Trento e la N&\;GConsulting di Milano.
Practix si occuperà di sviluppare e commercializzare sistemi collaborativi multitouch per la Formazione e i primi tre anni avrà sede in via Sommarive 18\, presso la sede di Povo della FBK.
Practix unisce le competenze per il supporto alla collaborazione sviluppate nel campo dei sistemi di collaborazione multiutente all'interno dell'Unità di ricerca I3\, guidata da Massimo Zancanaro.
